Article Grid Revised - V1.2
Hi Guys,
The Sample magazine Article grid has been revised, V1.2 has been emailed to you.
Please update your current version with V1.2.
Updates in this revision:
- Kerning to optical.
- Individual Type Base line shift options to 0pt. (This should fix the type cursor position issue.)
- Sub Heading Paragraph Style Preset to Full Caps .
- Base Line Start: 54mm (Text will not be able to be entered within the top 54mm of the page)
It has been brought to my attention that some of us are using In Design CS, this being the case I've included a version of the Grid in Adobe interchange (.inx) file for those of you using In Design CS.
In the email you will receive additional notes on the attached files - **Please Read them Carefully**
In short - Those using In design CS2 / 3 shouldn't have any problem opening the .indd file. Those using CS will have to install a patch as out lined in the email.
If you have not received the new version, please email me and I'll happily forward you one.
Cheers,
Serryn.

Re: Article Grid Revised - V1.2
Hi
I was also wondering if we have decided that everyone needs to have intro text in their layouts? I heard that we were all supposed to have them (I do) but I dont think its necessary for keeping consistency.
Let me know
Thanks

Hi,
I think it would be preferable to have an intro text consistently throughout the magazine, however I don't think It's vital and would depend somewhat on the nature of the article.
Cheers,
Serryn.
